I hope everyone has had a good week! Can't believe how fast time is flying by!
This past week we met with one of our progressing investigators and we had a really good lesson with him. At the end of the lesson we invited him to be baptized and we extend to him a specific date to be baptized, last time we invited, his eyes got HUGE! But this time, he looked a little sad, and he said that he didn't feel ready for that date. We promised him that with our Heavenly Fathers help, and by the grace of Jesus Christ all things are possible. He didn't agree to a date but he did agree to pray to ask if the date was right for him! We'll see what's happened this coming week!!
Lots of the leaves are gone, and it's starting to get a little cooler! Everyone thinks it's freezing and it's only in the 40's! It's weird being in November without any snow!! Makes me appreciate the snow back home!!
Lots of other things have occurred this past week but I can't really remember them! :/
But I know that this church is true. And that Jesus Christ truly leads and guides the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints through living Prophets and Apostles. I have been blessed by this gospel in so many ways, I can't even begin to count. But I know that the gospel has given a light, a joy, a peace in my life. And because I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ, I want to share this with my brothers and sisters. It's because of this light, this joy, this peace, that I came out on my mission, to serve these amazing sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father. I love this work, and I love this gospel. And I know our Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us.
