Hermanas!!
¡Hola familia y amigos! How has everyone been this past week?
This week has been amazing! We watched a devotional on Sunday by David A Bednar from 2011 and it it he said, "You can do this. The Savior knows you can do this. I know you can do this. You will have His help as you do this work. With His help and with His strength, you can do anything.''
That was awesome! It totally boosted my spirits! Some days out here are hard, but if we remember that we can do it through and with the Lord's help, we can do anything!
One amazing talent that I knew I had, but has really come more prominent while here in the CCM is memorizing! We are to memorize certain scriptures in Spanish, and Spanish is really hard! However, I have passed off lots, and i understand and learn new words by doing so! What an awesome talent! And I know it will serve me well!
On Saturday we had a 5-10 minute downpour of rain! It was awesome (Especially because I was inside) but it smelled so good, and smelled like home! And it made the stench of Mexico go away too so that was a plus!
Also this week, as a district we shared why we came out to serve missions. And I honestly believe, it allowed us to grow as a district! It was like a mini testimony meeting, which is great! And I would like to share with you guys:
I am out here because our Heavenly Father has given me so many blessings. And one way that I can give back to Him, is by serving in His place for 18 months. Also, I have an amazing family to whom I get to spend eternity with, and I am so grateful for that. I want to let others know that they too can live with their families in the life to come.
I love this gospel, and i am grateful for this chance to serve my Heavenly Father!
