Hello Family and friends!
How has everyone's week been? The weeks just seem to be getting faster and faster! And yesterday I hit the 5 month mark! WHAT?! Have I really been a missionary that long? Seems like yesterday I was leaving AK heading to the CCM in Mexico!
For the past two weeks, the temperature here in Connell is getting hotter and hotter! It was in the 90's a couple days this past week! But then the weather would change rather quickly into a full-on downpour! More or less, everyday it gets really hot, then rains with thunder and lightning! It's been really exciting, and somewhat frustrating on what to wear that is good for the heat but also for the rain! But it's fun! :) Thunder and lightning every day, it's been a cool experience.
We had a really cool miracle happen this week! While out tracting we met a guy who gave us a referral for his friends girlfriend who knew a Mormon, so we went by, and she let us right in! We started talking with her, and we were able to teach her about the Restoration of the Gospel, and invited her to church. AND she CAME to church! As did another investigator we have been teaching!
