WOW! This past week has just flown by! It's almost the middle of February?! Where in the world is the time flying?! This week has just been jammed packed: meetings, lessons, more meetings(we had 12+ hours of meetings) , and a baptism!!! We've been so privileged to see so many miracles in this part of the Lord's vineyard.
Last night, we were out trying to contact some people, and we were told that they no longer live there :( But we were able to knock some of the homes around that area, and we were able to meet this super cute older couple! They asked us (in Spanish) if we spoke Spanish and we responded in Spanish "Sí" and we continued to talk to them in Spanish. The husband then asked if we spoke Spanish well, which we responded, "Sí". He let us right in and we got to meet his wife. We got to talking to them, and we offered them a church tour, and they said yes! This cute old couple followed us in their car to do a church tour at 7:30pm on a Sunday night. As we showed them around the church, the kept saying that they felt such great peace. They committed to come to church this next week! They're so amazing and so faith-filled!!
So, if y'all remember that investigator that I mentioned last email, the one that said he wanted to be baptized here instead of Venezuela, well he got baptized! It was an amazing experience! He's so awesome, and everything just came together for his baptism, obviously Heavenly Father wanted it to happen this way! He's such an example to us and to those around him! All the missionaries in our Branch (there is 4 sets including us:2 sets of Elders and 2 of Hermanas, grand total of 8 missionaries) are so amazed by this Hermano and his desire to follow Christ! So grateful for his example to me!
So grateful for this gospel and all the happiness and blessings it brings to my life. Grateful for my call to serve and to work along side such amazing people.
Hope everyone has a great week! Happy Single Awareness Day-- err I mean Valentine's Day! Stay safe and have fun! :)
Love,
Hermana Dee
