Dear Family and Friends,
Happy New Years!! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday week!
This week was full of miracles for us here in Yakima! We've been busy, busy! This week we had the opportunity to do two exchanges with some sisters this week! Exchanges are so incredibly awesome! No matter if the Sister I am with has been out 2 weeks, or is almost ready to go home, I always learn something new!
One thing I learned this week was the importance of bearing testimony. Sharing our testimonies, even if they are only a simple phrase can, and is, a powerful tool. I am so grateful for this opportunity that I have to be able to share my testimony with everyone I meet and its not even weird (or at least it isn't to me)!!!
I know this life is a time to be tested and tired. But as we follow the example of Jesus Christ, and live His gospel, our lives will be blessed. That doesn't mean our trials are taken away, but that we are never alone, and that we can overcome our weaknesses and our follies. I know that it's through doing the basics like reading our scriptures, saying our prayers, and going to church that we gain this strength to keep pressing forward.
I love you all and I love this gospel. But most of all, I love my Savior Jesus Christ.
Love,
Hermana Dee
