Hello Family and Friends! Hope everyone had a great week!
This past week I had the blessing of giving a training at district council, and I was asked to speak on how Ether 12:27 applies to us as missionaries (or just to us as children of our Heavenly Father).
27 "And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient
for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me,then will I make weak things become strong unto them."
Humility is the base of Faith, we need to be humble to exercise faith. Faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement then allows us access to the Grace of God. And the Grace of God is divine help or strength, which is when we become strong. But it all starts with being Humble, which is something I have been focusing on this past transfer. It's been (for better or worst terms) a humbling experience.
This week I said "Adios" to one of my favorite people here in Connell. Her name is Angeles and she is from Ecuador, and by being able to get to know her, teach her more about the gospel, and seeing her testimony grow has increased my testimony and helped me feel and understand more of our Heavenly Father's love for each of us. And I know that there are no such things as coincidences.
Hope everyone has a great week, and can feel of our Heavenly Father's love for them and for those around us!
Love,
Hermana Dee
