Dear Family and Friends,
Wow this week has just flown past! Lots of things happened, not quite sure where to begin!
So this past week, my companion and I went down to the Dalles for exchanges. Due to the long drive, and the difficulty of finding members to drive us we leave our area for 3 days while we go do these two exchanges. So we left Tuesday mid-day and got back to Yakima on Thursday Evening. And our Zone Leaders are the best! They covered our area for a couple hours each of the days we were gone! First day that we were gone, they stopped by an address that we left as a potential, and they found the lady at home and taught her! They invited her to baptism and she said yes when she knows it's true. Now, her mother lives there as well and belongs to another Christian church, and she doesn't like that her daughter is meeting with us missionaries, so that's super sad. But she told us that she felt so much peace and comfort when she talks to us missionaries, and she feels that what we share is true. We testified that it is true, and the feelings she was having was the Spirit. She's awesome!
So all that started while we were down in the Dalles! And then we came back and hit the ground running! Knocking doors, trying people, and being missionaries! Started to make the rounds to start saying goodbye. Seems surreal. Seems like last month I was in Mexico, and here I am, entering my final week. 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith". Seems appropriate, right? :)
Have a great week! Be safe! Love y'all! Till next week!
Love,
Hermana Dee
