Hope everyone has had a fantastic week! I sure have! And this coming week will be my final week in the CCM. It's sad and also really exciting! I am going to miss my district, but I can't wait to go out into the field!
Last night we had a Devotional by Elder Alan R. Walker and he talked a lot on how your attitude determines your success in your mission and also in your life. He also said that while we are on our missions, we will be tempted in many ways- but to remember that there are many faithful examples of missionaries in the scriptures with positive attitudes! Nephi and Nehemiah to just name some.
Spanish is getting easier. When we teach, I can have no idea what to say, but I just open my mouth and I start talking, and it is really cool! I know that it is the Holy Ghost that is helping me. Everyday, as a district we have made it a goal to speak solo Español till Lunch and we are improving! We had an awesome Devotional on Sunday about speaking your mission language, and one cool quote was: "If you feel inadequate, it's okay. Who God calls, He qualifies them." I know I will learn this language. As I do the best that I can, I know I will be blessed in learning this language.
In Relief Society, we had a lesson and one part that really stuck out to me was when she mentioned how some people look and see a glass half full others see it half empty. But what we need is to just be happy to have a glass - meaning just be happy with your circumstances. "Each of us must climb mountains that we have never climbed before." -James E Faust.
I love this gospel, my district, and all of you!
Hope everyone has a great week!
