This past week I've had some time to study Matthew 7:20, and wow, it made me think! By our "fruits" (works) people will know about us. And it is by our works that we show our faith. Our outward manifestations bring to pass our inward beliefs and desires. What are our works/fruits showing? Are our works/fruits showing what's inside of us (charity, light, hope, faith, desires to serve God)? How will we change, adapt, better our fruits? One thought that came to my mind is by building, cultivating, harvesting, our faith. And we do that by acting in faith, using words of faith, trusting in the Spirit, our Savior, and our Heavenly Father. And by truly loving our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and those around us. And by doing so, we will become better servants, better instruments in the hands of our Heavenly Father.
This week we've been able to see the members and missionaries join together to teach, the Spirit is about a-hundred fold stronger. And when members are present, there is an even greater spirit than what there would be with just the missionaries there.
Also, this week, I tried fresh corn. Right from the field, and right in the field! Haha. Washington never ceases to amaze me with its wonderful produce!
More news, we're planning on a baptism this coming Saturday! Our investigator had their interview yesterday and they passed! We're so excited for them and it's been amazing to see their testimony grow, leaps and bounds, in just the short time I've been here.
I know this church is true with all my heart. I know that through our "fruits" we can show our love for our Heavenly Father and for those around us. I love this gospel and I know it's the true gospel of Jesus Christ.
Hope y'all have a good week!!
