Hello Family and Friends!
Hope everyone has had a great week! This week has just flown by! Where is the time going?!?! This next week we have the opportunity to hear from Elder Packer from the Seventy at a Zone Conference! So Excited!
This week we had a three way exchange! And I was a companion with a missionary who had just hit their month mark of being a missionary! It was a ton of fun and we were able to see the hands of our Heavenly Father here in our area! We were able to see many tender mercies! While we were out tracting, it got up near 100 degrees and neither of us had water, we knocked on this one door, and it was a member!! She let us in, gave us a cool drink, and then we hit the street again! I know our Heavenly Father was looking over us, and He sent us to that area so that we could see the tender mercies that He is constantly showering us with!
It's really smokey here! There have been lots of fires up North of us. But the work is truly hastening! We see miracles, we are part of miracles, and we have the privilege to see the work moving forth right in front of us! And at times, it may seem like nothing is happening, that we are standing still. But I know that as we develop and show charity unto others, we will never feel like we are standing still. We will always be drawing closer and closer to our Heavenly Father.
I love this gospel. It's a gospel of Happiness, I have never felt such joy before in my life, even though some people slam their doors in my face. I can't stop smiling. And it's a gospel of change; of bettering ourselves, to become more like our Savior, Jesus Christ, and to become who our Heavenly Father wants/needs us to become.
Hope everyone has a great week!! Talk to you next week!
Love,
