Hello Family and Friends!!
Hope everyone has had a great week! This week seems to have flown right on by!
This week while at a missionary zone training meeting, a missionary brought up this really cool concept of finding true joy. And the only way we can truly attain this J.O.Y. is to first serve Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. When we put Them first, everything else will fall into their proper place, whether in or out of our lives. Next we find joy in serving Others. Just like King Benjamin in the Book of Mormon states: "That when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." (Mosiah 2:17) When we serve those around us, we serve our Heavenly Father. And lastly, Yourself. I know that if we do this, we will find lasting J.O.Y. in all things.
This past week we had exchanges and I went to Yakima for 24 hours! And I was in an English area. That was weird. Since the beginning of my mission, I've always had the opportunity to use my Spanish (however little it may be, HA!) but on exchanges I didn't really need to use it! And I felt weird, even though I am not a pro at the Spanish language, I LOVE IT! And one day I hope to master this beautiful language!
A miracle: We stopped by an Investigator that the Elders were teaching who is a Recent converts sister, and she is awesome! WHY DIDN'T WE SEE HER DAY ONE?!?!? Hahaha. But Heavenly Father knew that she needed to see us last night, not sometime before then. It was awesome! We are hoping to get her on date soon.
Hope everyone has a great week! Love you all!
Love,
