Hello Family and Friends!
This past week we had the opportunity to go to a farm owned by members! It was a lot of fun! The only draw back, it was 100 degrees outside! Sheesh! But it was a wonderful opportunity to walk around, help out, and see the life of a dairy owner!
This past Saturday was Transfer Call Day, and while we were in a lesson, we missed a call from our Mission President!! So we called him back, and he said, "Hermana Dee, I have had this impression that you are needed elsewhere out of Connell. I would like to extend to you the calling to serve in the Yakima Valley, in Toppenish. You will be in an entire Spanish Zone." SO with that I accepted and said thank you to my Mission President.
Now, some may say that's no biggie, it's just a transfer. However, as of July 1, 2015 the Washington Kennewick Mission will be splitting to create the Washington Yakima Mission. I get the wonderful opportunity to serve in both missions (WKM for 6 months, and WYM for the remainder of my mission.) So sometime soon I will get my new mission home address and will give it to my mom!
This upcoming Saturday we have two investigators to be baptized! Brian and Christine, they are both amazing and it's been a privilege to know them. It's also been great to be able to teach them as well, and have them teach me. I hope to make it back here on Saturday for their baptisms. They are great and they shine with the light of Christ!
Have a great week Everybody!
Con amor,
Hermana Dee
