It is a nice 64 degrees here in Connell, WA, and spring has sprung! Flowers are starting to bloom and grass is green!! And the sunsets here are really cool (not as great as Alaska, but maybe I'm biased!).
This past week has been quite a ride! We had a baptism on Friday night and it was super cool! It was a great experience, so happy to have been able to meet Jose and his family!
This past week, my companion and I have been searching for people to teach. Out of a town of 5000, where almost 2500 are in jail, Connell has been tracted a lot. But it's great, we get to meet a lot of new people and meet people who are ready for the gospel and have a desire to change. It's been awesome!
This Sunday was the Branch's Branch Conference, and it was awesome! Both the Branch President and Stake President talked on how boats in the scriptures- Nephi's, the brother of Jared's, and of course Noah's. And they both compared these boats as being the gospel of Jesus Christ. And that we need to hold on with both hands, so that we don't get thrown from the boat. And we can hang on to the boat by: reading our scriptures daily, praying daily, and going to church. And that is so true, sometimes the Primary answers are the answers we really need.
Hope everyone has an awesome week! Stay awesome!
